57-year-old David Hallett died from blunt force head injury after being punched at The Dolphin and Anchor last June.
Kieran Egan, who's 30 from Baldmoor Lake Road in Birmingham, had previously admitted manslaughter but denied murder.
Yesterday, a jury found Egan not guilty of murder.
He'll be sentenced for manslaughter at a date to be confirmed.
