A pedestrian has been seriously injured in Bognor collision

Police are appealing for witnesses.

Police are seeking witnesses to a collision in Bognor in which a pedestrian was seriously injured.

The 75-year-old local man and a silver Toyota Avensis estate collided in Richmond Avenue, Bognor, at 7.15am on Thursday 20 May.

The pedestrian is in hospital with very serious injuries.

The car driver, who was sole occupant of the vehicle, was unhurt.

PC Mark Gregory of the Surrey and Sussex Roads Policing Unit said; "If you saw what happened please contact us either via collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting serial 219 of 20/05."
