Police are investigating reports of attempted break-ins across parts of Mid Sussex and Crawley.
Police are urging residents to be vigilant after reports of attempted break-ins in East Grinstead and Maidenbower.
Residents reported a group of men attempting gain entry to properties and vehicles at addresses in both locations in the early hours of 27 January.
In East Grinstead, a group was seen attempting to gain entry to properties and vehicles between 1.20am and 2am, then later attempting to gain entry to properties and vehicles in the Maidenbower area of Crawley between 4.35am and 5.20am.
Officers are investigating and have been carrying out increased patrols for reassurance for residents.
Detective Chief Inspector Pauline Lane said: “We understand that these reports will cause concern for residents in East Grinstead and Crawley.
“That is why we are urging residents to remain vigilant, and urging anyone with further information such as CCTV, doorbell, dashcam or mobile phone footage to come forward.
“We are also releasing images of people we wish to speak with in connection with our investigation. There were seen wearing face coverings but also wore distinctive clothing.

“Anyone with information can report it to Sussex Police online or call 101 and quote Operation Olympus, always call 999 in an emergency.”
