Residents have been asked to keep their doors and windows closed, as well as avoiding a street in Bognor Regis after a fire broke out in a garage.
In a statement, West Sussex Fire and Rescue said: "Crews from Bognor Regis fire station, Chichester fire station, and Selsey fire station are currently at the scene of a garage fire in June Close.
"If you are nearby, please keep doors and windows and avoid the area if possible".
