Fire crews are tackling a huge blaze at an industrial site in Climping.
Eight fire engines and two water carriers are at the scene in Grevatts Lane.
Photos are emerging on social media showing a big column of grey smoke rising from the site – people in the area are being asked to keep windows closed.
Eyewitness Roy says the smoke can be seen in Littlehampton and says road diversions are in place.
Eddie Smith who lives nearby says he was alerted to somthing happening after hearing no cars going down his road and his dogs started barking in his garden, he sent us the following video.
A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service said: "At 10.20am we received multiple 999 calls reporting a large fire at Grevatts Lane, Climping.
"We currently have eight fire engines, two water carriers and an aerial ladder platform responding to the incident.
"People who live nearby are urged to keep their doors and windows closed due to the amount of smoke in the area."
