There’s a warning to holidaymakers in the South to stay away from cliff edges.
The RNLI has issued a warning following recent chalk falls in Peacehaven and another incident in May near Newhaven.
Cliffs in East Sussex attract tourists during the summer, but the lifeboat charity warns that sitting on the edge can be fatal.
Beachy Head remains a favoured tourist destination. Despite its beauty and the iconic lighthouse, visitors often dangerously walk or take selfies near the cliff edges. Consequently, car parks at this site have been closed off in recent years to enhance public safety.
