Crawley Town all clear to play Bournemouth

Town's FA Cup fourth round tie will go ahead despite five players testing positive for coronavirus.

A member of staff at the League Two side has also tested positive.

The club say they have carried out more than 220 tests last week with just six positives, meaning the remaining squad can return to training this morning and the players are also clear to play competitive games again.

The club say players, as well as playing and operational staff members, will continue to obey strict guidelines which have been put in place at both our training ground and at The People's Pension Stadium, to protect both the individuals themselves, and those around them.

The Reds earned a trip to Championship side Bournemouth after knocking Premier league Leeds out of the FA Cup in the third round.

The West Sussex club's training ground and the People's Pension Stadium have been deep cleaned and sanitised, and players and staff will continue to follow strict guidelines at both locations.

A win away at the Cherries will see Crawley in the fifth round of the FA Cup for the first time since the 2011/12 season.
