Crawley Town F.C. mourn the passing of Vic Marley

He was Chairman of the club from May 2007 through to April of 2013, seeing the Reds progress from non-League all the way through to League One before his departure in 2013.

Marley joined Crawley’s board of directors in 1999 when the club was competing in the Dr Martens League.

He was also heavily involved with the club’s Community Foundation.

In an interview  upon his departure, Marley said: “For me, the greatest satisfaction is seeing the club in a far better position than when I joined.”

“The last six years have certainly been eventful. It has been an honour and a pleasure to be Chairman during the most successful period in our history."
