Independent Lives has launched PA Pages, an innovative online service, which lists personal assistants looking for work as well as disabled employers looking for people to support them to live independently.

Personal assistants provide social and domestic support to help disabled people, and people with health and social care needs lead
independent lives.

Visitors to PA Pages can search and apply for vacancies, or if you’re an employer, you’ll be able to list your job vacancy to be viewed by
prospective employees.

PA Pages also features a training portal which allows personal assistants to complete a range of free online courses.

Rebecca Smicle, Chief Executive of Independent Lives said: “We’re delighted to launch PA Pages and to see the impact it is already having on social care recruitment.

"It has been in development since the start of 2022, and we have plans to take the platform even further in the future – this is only
the beginning.

"So if you’re thinking about working in social care but couldn’t find a job that was right for you, or maybe you’ve tried to recruit
but couldn’t find anyone suitable – PA Pages is the place to start your employment journey.”

Independent Lives is working to further develop PA Pages by adding information and advice, a full programme of bookable training and
tools which will allow visitors to speak directly to trained staff about their recruitment needs.

PA pages is live now. Please visit www.pa-pages.org to sign up today.
