(C) V2 Radio 2024 - Ex-hurricane Ernesto

The South will miss the worst part of the bad weather caused by Ex-hurricane Ernesto, but it will still be unsettled.

Ex-hurricane Ernesto is set to batter parts of Britain early tomorrow morning, with forecasters saying the South will escape the worst of the bad weather.

Wind speeds of up to 62mph are expected in the northern tip of Wales and Northwest Scotland.

However, the South is expected to get some heavy rain but no weather warnings are in place at the moment.
