The Sussex Freemasons donated a lenient total of 33 Android 'Fire' tablets, which is to be distributed across the eight RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) lifeboat stations across Sussex.

They have been awarded to the crews at the RNLI lifeboat stations at Rye Harbour, Hastings, Eastbourne, Newhaven, Brighton, Shoreham, Littlehampton and Selsey.

The crew members will be assisted by undertaking online training remotely and practicing their core skills, after some training sessions have been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Sussex Freemasons support those in need in the community, from food banks to scout groups, from dementia care to hospice support. They also contribute to wider needs such as national charities of significance.
