Littlehampton Town suffer Wembley defeat

Littlehampton Town's trip to Wembley ended in defeat as Newport Pagnell ran out 3-0 winners in the final of the FA Vase

Littlehampton were cheered on by a large group of supporters who had travelled to the national stadium with approximately 7,000 making the trip from West Sussex.

But it was their opponents who ran out comfortable winners.

Littlehampton trailed to a wonder goal at half time and then Ben Shepherd scored twice in the second 45 minutes, with one coming from the penalty spot to seal the win for Newport Pagnell.
