Man attacked in Bognor Regis pub

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault in a pub in Bognor Regis on Friday night (September 3).

Officers were called to The William Hardwicke in High Street at 12.08am on Saturday (September 4) to reports of a man having been attacked.

The victim, a 26-year-old local man, was found with serious facial injuries having been hit with what is believed to be a glass.

The incident took place at around 11.25pm on Friday night.

A 25-year-old man from Bognor Regis was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and released under investigation while enquiries continue.
