A man has been charged with sexual assault following an alleged incident on a flight to Gatwick Airport.
Police were called around 5am last Saturday, following reports that a woman in her 20s was sexually assaulted while asleep plane that set off from Doha.
Momade Jussab who is 65 and from Feltham in Hounslow, was arrested when the flight landed.
He has now been charged with sexual assault and remains in custody.
Jussab is due to appear at Lewes Crown Court on the 28th of October.
Detective Inspector Darren Taylor says: “This incident must have been extremely traumatic for the victim, and she is being supported by specialist officers.
“Our team worked hard to secure a charge and remand for this sexual assault, which shows our zero tolerance and robust stance on sexual violence.”
