Maria Colenso and Charlie Nell, the Horsham Town Neighbourhood Wardens, recently worked in partnership with Age UK
Horsham District Council’s Community Link team, Sussex Police PCSOs and a local social prescriber to run a community coffee morning at Trafalgar Road Baptist Church in Horsham.
The aim of the morning was to allow residents to access a range of local services for information and advice, as well as to enjoy free tea and cake!
The coffee morning was only able to take place as a result of Amish Shingadia, store owner of Londis Caterways, kindly offering some funding from the Coca Cola Foundation, which can be used for community causes. The funding paid for the hall hire, refreshments and resources.
