It's an exciting year ahead as the venue has been closed as a cinema and entertainment venue for 50 years.
The Selsey Pavilion could reopen its doors to the public as soon as June next year, bringing new life to the historic building.
The Trust that owns the site says it will be a red carpet event but a very soft opening as full restoration is expected to take years.
It was closed in 1974 when it was leased to an aviation catering firm.
But now, after being acquired by the Selsey Pavilion Trust in February, exciting steps are being taken to restore the iconic building to its former glory.
The Trust will be looking for volunteers in the months ahead to help paint and restore what will be history in the making.
Last night, there was a chance to see a piece of history on television.
BBC One’s The Repair Shop fully restored a cinema projector donated to the Selsey Pavilion, which will be used when it opens.
