Sussex residents are being invited to take part in a survey on domestic abuse support services.
The consultation asks questions like: How well is domestic abuse understood? How much do you know about the support services on offer?
The Pan-Sussex Strategy for Domestic Abuse Accommodation and Support 2021-2024 set out what services would help, support and protect survivors of domestic abuse (and their children) in safe accommodation, in line with duties under the National Domestic Abuse Act 2021.
Since the strategy was written, West Sussex County Council, East Sussex County Council, and Brighton and Hove City Council have worked closely with a diverse range of stakeholders to form the Domestic Abuse Partnership Board and Voices of Lived Experience Board (VOLEB).
The combined boards are critical for delivering a shared vision, and Police and Criminal Justice colleagues are also on these boards.
