The pebbles are being placed around various locations, with the Samaritans phone number on, to show people they are not alone.
Sophie Badman, 28, from Littlehampton has been placing them around the area, including Worthing beach, the Angmering Estate and Arundel.
She said on Twitter she is "thankful" for people joining in and spreading the love.
The aim to spread awareness for people struggling with their mental health, to make sure they know, there is help out there if they need it.
If people do not need the help, the pebbles are still there to make people smile.
Some of the pebbles say "you have enough, you do enough, you are enough".
Another few amazing Positive Pebbles people have made and shared ♥️ So thankful people are joining in and spreading the word that @samaritans are always there 💚 Life is tough right now but you aren’t alone #mentalhealth #MentalHealthAwareness pic.twitter.com/mJkqqnfBNI
