Pharmacy encourages 75s plus to ask for the vaccine

Midhurst Pharmacy becomes the first in West Sussex to offer the coronavirus vaccine.

The pharmacy started vaccinating today (Friday 29) and is the first one of its kind so far in the region.

Unlike most GP's and organisations, they are encouraging people to come forward and ask to get a vaccine (only if they meet the criteria).

They posted on their Facebook "anyone over 75 years old who have not been offered a Covid-19 vaccine, please come into Midhurst Pharmacy with your details and we may be able to fit you in this coming Sunday 31st Jan!".

It comes as they told reports that they aim to vaccinate well above minimum 1000 doses per week.
