Police appeal after man stabbed in Barnham

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted in Barnham on Wednesday (November 3).

Emergency services were called to Yapton Road around 9pm and found the victim, a 34-year-old man, with a stab wound to his leg. He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for treatment.

Police later arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion of wounding with intent. He remains in custody at this time.
