Police investigating aggravated burglary in Littlehampton

Sussex Police are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary in Littlehampton.

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a house in Southfields Road, shortly after 7.30pm on Thursday 11 February.

Two men entered the premises, assaulted a male occupant, who received treatment for head and foot injuries in hospital, and threatened others.

One suspect is described as white British, over 6’, of skinny build and wearing a dark hoody.

He was carrying a metal pole.

The second suspect is described as white British, about 5’10”, with fair, curly hair and wielding a knife.

Both were wearing snoods.

A Volkswagen Passat car may have been involved which the attackers left the area in.

The investigation is ongoing and the motivation for this incident is currently unknown.
