Police response at Chichester College after reports of man with knife

The incident took place last Wednesday at around 12:30 pm.

Officers arrived swiftly and viewed CCTV in order to identify any suspects.

An 18-year-old man was arrested and charged with possessing a bladed article and with common assault, and a 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with a community protection notice and also driving offences.

Both will appear in court next month.

Officers have increased patrols in the area and are engaging with the College.
