Poppy's Garden Fundraiser receives over £1000 and counting

The money goes towards helping an 8 year old rebuild her beekeeping garden

Eight year old Poppy is mad about bees.

After learning about them in school, she wanted to get into beekeeping, something her family encouraged in 2019. They even received kit from across the beekeeping community, such as the hive, hive tools and hand made frames.

Last week though, the hive was stolen, and all of Poppy's bee lost.

Obviously upset, her Mum set up a GoFundMe page to ask people for donations, and in just under 24 hours, they've already broken their goal of raising £500.

They now sit at over £1000 and counting, with donations still pouring in.

The family sent out a thank you video from Poppy on the Poppy's Garden Facebook page.
