A new public consultation into how street trading works in Arun has been launched.
The original rules have been in place since the 1980's according to Arun District Council, and they say after the 18 months of the pandemic, it's time to update them.
The consultation opened on Monday and will last six weeks, closing on 25th October.
One of the key questions the consultation is asking the public is whether they think any more streets should be added to a list of prohibited streets for street trading across Arun District.
Currently, the following streets are considered prohibited streets:
Aldwick Road (West Street to Silverston Ave)
Lyon Street West
The car park known as The Bluebird car park
East Street (between High St and Avon Road)
Terminus Road (between Terminus Place andArundel Road)
They also want to know if there are any places you feel would particularly benefit from Street Trading during the day or in the evenings.
You can find the consultation on their website.
