Children go back to school today, but parents feel out of pocket due to school uniform costs and the cost of living.

Thousands of children have returned to school today, but the ongoing cost of living crisis is hitting hard.

A new survey by the Children’s Society shows that nearly two-thirds of parents in the South East find school uniforms too expensive, adding to the financial burden.
