Storm Bert set to hit the South this weekend

The Met Office has issued a Yellow Warning for Wind, effective from Saturday through to Sunday night, with gusts expected to reach 60 to 70 miles per hour.

Heavy rain is also forecast, adding to the challenging conditions.

Meanwhile due to the bad weather - Littlehampton has postponed its Christmas lights switch-on event scheduled for Saturday.

Chichester has also scaled back its plans, cancelling live entertainment and the market, though some indoor events will still go ahead.
