The Capitol Horsham to re-open for Bank Holiday Weekend

The Operations Manager confirmed it will reopen on Friday 28 May 2021

Horsham District Council has revealed that the popular Capitol Theatre will reopen on May holiday weekend.

Matthew Effemey, Operations Manager says they are "over the moon" about the confirmation, and says they "just can't wait to welcome our customers back through the door"

Many films will be ready to watch, including the multi-award winning Nomadland starring Frances McDormand, as well as Disney's Cruella, Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan led Ammonite and family film Peter Rabbit 2: the Runaway. 

Social distancing will be used for the theatre shows when they first open up, with Horrible Histories - Barmy Britain on 2nd and 3rd June, Joel Dommett & Friends on 11th June, Lesley Garrett on 20th June and an exclusive Horsham show starrting Oliver Tompsett and Louise Dearman in A Night at The Musicals on 24th July. 

Covid Safety measures will remain in line with Government guidelines and The Capitol has been awarded use of the See It Safely scheme which demonstrates that safety forms the foundation for their re-opening plan.
