Police on the Isle of Wight are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Newport.
This happened at about 10:30am on Thursday, the 4th of December.
A 42-year-old man was outside Costa Coffee in St James Square when a woman came up to him, pushed him over, and repeatedly punched him.
Police say the woman then picked up his phone and headed off in the direction of the High Street.
The woman is described as white, with short mousey brown hair, aged in her 20's, approximately 5ft 5 and of a plump build. At the time of the incident, she was wearing a light brown and cream stripped knitted jumper, blue jeans and white trainers, holding a red carrier bag and cream handbag.
