Worthing Town Hall meeting with police to discuss safety

Residents of Adur and Worthing are invited to an upcoming town hall meeting to discuss community safety with two senior police officers.

The Joint Overview and Scrutiny Committee will host the event in Worthing on Tuesday the 3rd of December, at 6:30 PM.

Chief Inspector James Davidson and Superintendent Nick Dias from Sussex Police will address questions about local policing and crime concerns.

The work of the Adur & Worthing Safer Communities Partnership, which Ch Insp Davidson was recently appointed chair of, will also be under scrutiny by the committee. Residents are being invited to submit their questions in advance, for a chance to have them answered on the night.

The Adur & Worthing Safer Communities Partnership is a multi-agency partnership, including Adur & Worthing Councils and Sussex Police, which aims to bring organisations together to make Adur and Worthing safer places to live, work and visit.

Questions can be submitted to the committee by emailing democratic.services@adur-worthing.gov.uk by midday on Thursday 28th November.
