Saywell International Charity Supercar Track Day!

Free family event - 8th August 2026

At V2 Radio, we were stunned to learn that a growing number of children do not have a bed to sleep in. The Rotary Club in Chichester has told us on average they receive 10 to 15 calls a week for help in supplying a bed. So to address this crisis, we partnered with Ashton Care Group, Cuff Miller, and The Chichester Harbour Rotary Club to raise funds for purchasing mattresses, ensuring these children can enjoy the restful sleep they desperately need. Adequate sleep is crucial for their educational performance, as it keeps them alert and ready to learn.

On Saturday 8th August we'll be helping host the Saywell International Charity Supercar Track Day at the Goodwood Racetrack. This is a free event which is perfect for families, petrolheads, or anyone looking for a fabulous way to spend a Saturday supporting the local community - and there's the cracking raffle prizes to make the day even better!

We need your help!

If you're a local business, fabulous fundraiser, or dedicated petrolhead, then we need your help spreading the word. 

Businesses and fundraisers

So, you're local and looking to support this fabulous charity which directly affects the lives of children in the local area, how can you help? If you're struggling for ideas and ways to support us, take a look at some of the ideas below.

1. Donations - One of the easiest ways to support the Beds for Kids charity is donating directly to our JustGiving page. Every donation goes directly towards the charity.
2. Promotion - A great way to support charity is to get the people in your business or community involved. Even if it's simply sharing our Facebook event or social posts (FB, IG, TT), it still helps raise awareness to more people.
3. Fundraising - If you'd really like to help, then raising money through your own fundraisers would be AMAZING! Whether that's collecting donations at your workplace or from customers, holding your own raffle or competition, we would greatly appreciate any amount that you can raise. 

Petrolheads

Since you already love cars, we'd love for you to tell as many people about this event as possible. To help you out, here's some important information to tell people.

1. Supercars - The event will be host to a whole range of fabulous supercars, and there are lots of videos on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook to check out what the previous years had.
2. Family - We will have entertainment and raffle prizes for children, and because this event is free there's no reason to leave your family at home.

Where does the money go?

All of the donations collected from the raffle, the Beds for Kids JustGiving page, and donations at the event will be used by the Chichester Harbour Rotary Club to purchase beds, mattresses, bedding, and pillows for local children.
