Bring Us Your Bras

Bring Us Your Bras IS BACK!
V2 Radio are asking the people of Sussex to bring us your bras! No matter what state they may be in...we want 'em!

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. Each year in the UK, around 55,500 women & 390 men are diagnosed with Breast cancer. That is more than 150 people a day. With 15% of all newly diagnosed cancers in the UK being Breast cancer.

The Bra Recycling scheme set up by Against Breast Cancer takes your unwanted or unloved bras and through their network of bra banks raises vital funds for pioneering breast cancer research. For every tonne of bras collected, Against Breast Cancer receives £700 to fund their research. With over 30 million women in the UK you could really help make a difference!

Against Breast Cancer funds ground-breaking cancer research to improve detection, treatment and increase survival after breast cancer diagnosis. The focus of their research is preventing secondary spread, the main cause of breast cancer related deaths.

Last time we collected a whopping 9,441 bras. We're looking to collect EVEN MORE this year, & hoping to break the 10,000 mark!

You have until Friday 27th March to Bring Us Your Bras.
