Milly's Mission - Wednesday

Wednesday - 6th April

Milly spoke to Crouchie live this morning, below is the phone call between them if you missed it or would like to listen again.

Milly's Daily Diary entry for Wednesday 6th April:

Martin James is the Refugee Centre Manager here in Przemysl - One of the largest camps on the boarder. I started by asking Martin what made him decide to come out here....

The centre costs around £3000 a day to run, with 1300 refugees walking through the door each day... but the work of the centre doesn't stop there!

Down at the Refugee Centre Milly met a gentleman called Rob Shilham, who has been volunteering in Poland and Ukraine for the last two weeks, Rob is with Connect Aid.

Malvic and his team are based in Medyka, right on the Poland/Ukraine border. So far they have rescued and processed 700 dogs since the war began and just over 500 have already been rehomed ..... but so many more are still in need of rescue.
