Below are the specifications the judges will be looking for with each nomination.

Care Home Carer
The specifications to be nominated for this award are as follows:

• The carer must work within a Care Home setting
• They have gone above & beyond for the residents living in residential care, their colleagues or even within their training

Community Carer
The specifications to be nominated for this award are as follows:

• The carer must work within a Domiciliary/Community Care capacity
• They have gone the extra mile whilst dedicating their time providing the much needed time & care for people living in their own home

Unpaid Carer
Nominations for the Unpaid Carer Award is open to all without an upper or lower age limit. The specifications to be nominated for this award are as follows:

• The carer must be unpaid & receive no financial reward for the work they do
• They have had a significant positive impact on the life/lives of the person they care for, have had a significant positive impact on other carers, paid or unpaid, and/or has gone the extra mile 

Carers Carer
The specifications to be nominated for this award are as follows:

• They have been nominated by fellow carers
• They have gone to great lengths, with this being demonstrated in the eyes of their peers/colleagues

NHS Team
The specifications to be nominated for this award are as follows:

• The team must work within an NHS setting
• They have surpassed expectations & make a huge contribution to maintaining & protecting the health & well-being of those in the County who are in hospital.

Overall Winner
The specifications to be nominated for this award are as follows:

• They combine a natural passion for caring & helping people with the skills & ability they have learnt, to be the person you wouldn't want to do without
