Salt House, whose music is influenced by the landscapes of the Scottish Highlands, Northumberland and Shetland, make a welcome debut at WemsFest in March.
More Information (V2 Radio is not responsible for external websites)
Comprising Ewan MacPherson (vocals and guitars), Jenny Sturgeon (vocals, keys, harmonium and guitar) and Anna Hughes (vocals, guitar, fiddle, viola), Salt House’s music is hypnotic. They have been a mainstay on the folk scene for over a decade with a number of well reviewed albums and are radio favourites on numerous folk programmes.
Whilst receiving a maximum five stars in The Scotsman and fRoots and 10/10 in “Folk Notes”, being described as “temporal beauty that touches the eternal” in “Folking” and “A lulling gentle delight” in the Guardian, Salt House invariably provide high quality musical performances.
Tickets are £20, from Bookends and Harbour Records in Emsworth, in Westbourne at The Westbourne Cafe (NEW!), or online at www.WeGotTickets.com/WemsFest
