Fresh from the release of her fifth album, The Silence is Deafening, vocalist and songwriter Irene Serra brings her original music project ISQ to The Folklore Rooms for an intimate, seated afternoon concert.
Recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios, the album blends alternative pop, noir jazz and electronic textures. Its songs explore womanhood, migration, resilience and the stories that connect generations.
Expect music from the new album, including the latest single “Faded”, recently played on V2 Radio, alongside favourites from ISQ’s earlier releases.
Irene performs with Richard Sadler (bass), Chris Nickolls (drums/electronics) and Luca Boscagin (guitar/electronics), whose collective credits include the Neil Cowley Trio, Andy Sheppard and The Cinematic Orchestra.
