More Information (V2 Radio is not responsible for external websites)
Sketch in the gallery from artworks that inspire you, focusing on texture, form and pattern, before developing your ideas into a unique hand-built clay vessel in the studio.
Using terracotta clay, you’ll explore hand-building techniques, press textures from natural and found materials, and experiment with coloured slips and sgraffito to create contrast and detail.
Please wear suitable clothing (aprons provided). You are welcome to bring your own landscape photographs for inspiration. Finished pieces will be kiln-fired after the workshop and ready to collect within approximately one month.
