V2 Radio & Moonlight Walk 2022

On Saturday the 22nd October, some of the V2 Radio team are coming together to join in on St Wilfrid's Hospice Moonlight Walk evening event.

St Wilfrid's Hospice is a charity that is close to many local peoples hearts, including us here at V2 Radio. A group of us are taking on the Moonlight Walk Evening Event.
V2 Radio's Steve Freegard has St Wilfrid's hospice to thank for providing end of life care to his dad, Tony, who passed away in 1996. 11th of September, the day after the event, would have marked Tony's 82nd birthday, and Steve takes on the Moonlight Walk in his memory alongside his wife Gemma and daughters Elsie and Mia. Joining him will be V2's Alex, Bel & Bel's daughter Chloe.

Our very own Crouchie will also be joining local fitness experts FITJOY, who will be providing a warm up with a great atmosphere with music, to set everyone off on the walk.

This year marks 35 years of St Wilfrid's Hospice's dedication to providing high quality specialist end of life care & bereavement support, wherever & whenever it is needed, within our community. St Wilfrid's are committed to working to ensure all dying people and those close to them have access to the care and support they need.

It's not too late for you to join in on the Moonlight Walk Week or evening event! It is an incredible way to show your support for the hospice & all they do. 
You can walk your own Moonlight Walk - Choose your own 5 or 10 mile route & be part of the special Moonlight Walk Week between 3rd-10th September. Walk a route of your choice at a time that suits you and your friends & family and connect with us on socials!
Or you can join in on the Moonlight Walk evening event - join in on Saturday 22nd October for the return of the familiar 5 or 10 mile routes through Chichester, including the specially lit Bishops Palace Gardens. You're able to choose your registration & starting time.
