Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £10,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted in connection with the death of 20-year-old hairdresser Amber Street.

Amber, from Sidlesham, died following a three-vehicle collision on the A27 near Arundel at around 11.15pm on Wednesday, 15 July.

She was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved. Three other people were also injured.

Mohammed Rasauli is wanted on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has now been added to Crimestoppers’ Most Wanted gallery.

Almost two months after the collision, he has still not been traced.

Crimestoppers says Rasauli has links to West Sussex, particularly Brighton, as well as London and Birmingham, and may also have travelled abroad.

It is believed he may have contacts who could be helping him with accommodation, travel or financial support.

Annabelle Goodenough, South Central East Regional Manager at Crimestoppers, said: “Amber was a much-loved daughter and friend whose life was cut short in the most tragic of circumstances. Her family have shown incredible strength, but nearly two months on, they are still waiting for the person responsible to be found.

“Somebody, somewhere, knows where Mohammed Rasauli is. Perhaps you’ve heard him mentioned, seen him staying somewhere he shouldn’t be, or know someone who has helped him keep out of sight.

“You can tell our charity what you know, 100% anonymously, and that information could be the missing piece that finally brings him to justice.”

Amber’s parents, Emily Barr and Ben Street, have also appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

They said: “Every morning, we wake up with the indescribable pain of losing Amber so young and so suddenly. Not a second goes by when we aren't grieving the loss of our kind, funny, beautiful girl.

“Our lives will never be the same again. The devastation and the reality of what has been taken from us will never leave, but bringing justice for Amber will give some sense of peace in the face of this devastation.”

They added: “We know there are people out there who have information, and we are asking you to search your conscience and come forward — even the smallest detail could help to bring some closure for Amber's loved ones.”

Crimestoppers is independent of the police and says anyone contacting the charity can remain completely anonymous.

The reward of up to £10,000 is available for three months and applies to information given directly and exclusively to Crimestoppers which leads to Rasauli’s arrest.

Information can be passed anonymously online through Crimestoppers or by calling 0800 555 111.
