Two Southampton teenager boys have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after five boys were stabbed at a party in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire, leaving one 17-year-old in a life-threatening condition.
The suspects, aged 16 and 17, were arrested following the serious assault in Park Road on Saturday night (31 October).
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said officers were called shortly after 10.30pm following reports that five teenage boys had been stabbed.
The victims, three aged 16 and two aged 17, had been invited to a supervised party at an address in Park Road.
Police said a group of uninvited males had reportedly entered the party by climbing over a garden fence before assaulting five guests in the garden and surrounding roads.
Two of the victims remain in hospital with serious injuries, including a 17-year-old boy whose condition is described as life-threatening.
The other three teenagers have been discharged from hospital.
Both suspects remain in police custody as detectives continue their investigation.
