A man has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker following an incident in Rose Green, Bognor Regis.
Emergency services were called to an address in Gossamer Lane at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, 23 September, following concerns for a man’s welfare.
Sussex Police said a man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and remained in custody.
A road closure was put in place while emergency services dealt with the incident, but it has since been lifted.
Earlier, a number of emergency service vehicles were reported at the scene.
In its latest statement, Sussex Police said: “Emergency services were called to a medical incident at an address in Gossamer Lane, Bognor, at about 12.30pm on 23 September.
“It followed a report of concern for a man’s welfare.
“A man has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and remains in custody.
“The road closure has now been lifted.
“We thank the public for their patience while we responded to this incident.”
