A kitesurfer has been taken to hospital following an incident at Shoreham Beach.
South East Coast Ambulance Service say they were called at around 9.30am today, Friday 4 September, to reports of a kitesurfer needing medical attention.
Ambulance crews attended the scene alongside the Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex.
One patient was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken by road ambulance to a local hospital.
No further details about the patient’s condition have been released.
