A 45-year-old man has been charged after an incident in Bognor Regis which saw police and paramedics called to a report of concern for a man’s welfare.
Emergency services were called to an address in Gossamer Lane at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, 23 September.
Police said officers and paramedics attended the scene, while a road closure was put in place to protect the public as the incident was dealt with.
A man was arrested in connection with the incident.
Billy Spinks, 45, of Glamis Street, Bognor Regis, has since been charged with assaulting a constable in the execution of his or her duty.
He has been bailed to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on 12 January 2027.
