A man has been charged following violent disorder at Eastney Marina earlier this month.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police said Bradley Pinnock, 29, of Fathoms Reach, Hayling Island, has been charged with one count of violent disorder.
The charge relates to an incident at Eastney Marina on Sunday 6 September, when a crowd of around 200 people gathered following the arrival of a small boat which had crossed the Channel.
Police have been investigating the disorder and working to identify those involved.
Pinnock is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 17 September.
The investigation into the wider disorder at Eastney Marina remains ongoing.
