A man has been remanded following a fire at a property in Brighton in August.
On Saturday, 29 August, emergency services responded to a report that a fire had begun to spread inside living area of a house in Warleigh Road.
Officers assisted with road closures, and no injuries were reported after the blaze was promptly brought under control by the fire service.
33-year-old Tinashe Kangira, of no fixed address, was arrested nearby. The following day, he was charged with arson with intent to endanger life.
At his hearing at Brighton Magistrates' Court on Monday, 31 August, Kangira was remanded in custody. He is next due to appear on 28 September at Lewes Crown Court.
