Detectives investigating a domestic-related assault in Havant have (Monday 5 October) charged a 35-year-old man.
It follows a report to us by our South Central Ambulance Service partners at 12.12pm on Sunday (4 October).
In the report, it was stated that a man in his 30s from Surrey had been assaulted in the area of Curdridge Close.
Officers immediately attended the scene and the victim was taken to hospital with serious, suspected life-threatening injuries. He remains in hospital.
Joshua Michael Peace, of Curdridge Close, Havant has now been charged with attempted murder.
He has been remanded in custody and appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Tuesday 6 October).
