A drugs warrant has been executed in Horsham.

On Tuesday (1 September), the Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a warrant under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act at an address in Fairbank Road, Southwater, following reports relating to suspected drug use and dealing.

The warrant was carried out in conjunction with the Tactical Enforcement Unit.

Inside the address, officers arrested a man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B controlled drug. He has since been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.

Inspector Neil Durkan said: "We recognise the impact that drug-related activity can have on local communities and thank members of the public who continue to report their concerns.

"Community intelligence plays an important role in helping us identify and tackle issues that matter to residents.

"We remain committed to addressing drug-related crime and anti-social behaviour and to making Horsham a safer place for everyone."
