Hampshire Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a three-vehicle collision on Hayling Island which has claimed the life of a 93-year-old man.
The collision happened at around 3pm on Sunday 26 July on the A3023 Havant Road, one of the main routes connecting Hayling Island to the mainland.
Three vehicles were involved in the incident, including a silver Ford Focus, a black Kia Sportage and a white Tesla Model Y.
Police said the Ford Focus and Kia Sportage were both travelling southbound towards Hayling Island, while the Tesla was travelling northbound, heading off the island.
The collision resulted in serious injuries to the driver of the Kia Sportage and all three occupants of the Ford Focus.
Hampshire Police have since confirmed that the driver of the Ford Focus, a 93-year-old man from Hayling Island, has now died.
Officers are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision and are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
Investigators are particularly keen to obtain dashcam footage which may have captured any of the three vehicles in the moments leading up to the crash, as well as footage of the collision itself.
