Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a woman was assaulted in Bognor Regis.
It was reported that on Wednesday 23 September at around 11am on Gossamer Lane in Aldwick, a woman and a man were at a bus stop when a man ran toward them, shouting and threatening violence toward the woman. He left the scene and returned, running at them, shouting and threatening violence again before leaving the vicinity.
A 45-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of common assault and common assault of an emergency worker. He has been bailed while enquiries are ongoing.
Officers are conducting an ongoing investigation and encourage anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any relevant information which could aid enquiries to report it to police.
