A former frontman for Spandau Ballet has been jailed for 14 years for multiple rapes and sexual assaults.

Ross Davidson, 38, once starred in the Queen musical We Will Rock You and in 2018 was lead singer for 80s legends Spandau Ballet.

He was convicted of two rapes, an attempted rape, three sexual assaults, and two charges of voyeurism, against six women between 2013 and 2019.

Davidson, who used the stage name Ross Wild and described himself as "sex positive", claimed all the sexual activity was consensual.

Jurors disagreed and he was sentenced today at Wood Green Crown Court in London.
