Calls for Better Flood Protection in Littlehampton

Residents and businesses in Littlehampton, who suffered from severe flooding this week, are urging for improved flood defences.

The river Arun overflowed its banks due to record-high spring tides, high winds, and saturated ground, causing flooding in Ferry Road and Rope Walk.

West Sussex County Council has told us they are still conducting a recovery operation in some of the worst-affected areas.
